Position: Software Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

Plan, develop and test computer programs applying knowledge of Programming techniques and computer systems; confer with system analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces; modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; consult with customers about software system design and maintenance; co-ordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure software specification requirements; design, develop and modify software using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation; analyze information to determine, recommend and plan computer specifications and layouts and peripheral equipment modifications; obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats, required costs, and security needed to determine hardware configurations; provide technical assistance to software program user; document software install and operational procedures.

Must be able to travel temporarily/relocate to job sites throughout the U.S. Required Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, any engineering or related studies. Reqd 2 years of experience in job offered, consultant, engineer or related field. Must have experience with J2EE technologies like JASS, WSDL, XML, JAX-* and XPRESS.
